Harry Potter-the magical sensation is once again on screen. This movie is as electrifying and gripping as the previous ones but the only thing is that nothing is shown in continuity! The transition from one scene to the other is crass, and that makes the movie a whole lot more dissatisfying for the true Potter fans who have read the book.
It's just flashes of everything, from Occlumency to Snape's memory to Umbridge and her decrees.
But Imanda Stuanton is the perfect Dolores Umbridge as she completely fits the character. The toad like face, the love for pink and cats, the sweet tone and the pure evil that resides in her eyes, everything has been portrayed to perfection by Imanda Stuanton.
The movie makes no sense at all in certain places, not abiding by the storyline at all. For instance:
Harry's scar is not at all visible in the first half of the movie. No notice comes about Harry's hearing. Also the movie could have been a bit longer and could have been more detailed and smooth in certain places.
However, the intensity of the scenes with Sirius' death and Voldemort possessing Harry's body, can raise goosebumps. Powerful performances by Helena Bonham Carter and Imanda Stuanton are what set the tone for this latest Potter movie.
A dissapointment for the fans, but loyal as we are to the franchise, we will find the positives even here.
